Welcome to Our home!

Welcome to our home! I thought i would give you all a little tour of the home
my family and i are living in. This home is a beautiful home built in the 1920's which
is quite rare around this part of the island.

The top floor that you see here is the
sleeping porch off the master bedroom. Very romantic...my favourite part of the home. This room is the formal dining area...a very large room. This photo only shows
a small part of the room..

Next up is the red french country kitchen. My dream is to one day have an all
white kitchen. For now it's red!

Would you like to stay for lunch? I love to cook and entertain for people!
Come over anytime...there is always food!

This room we call the passageway...the staircase is hidden in this room

You are going to find alot of toile in my home!!

Did i mention i'm a chinaholic? Really! My husband counted 28 boxes of china when
we moved here....he wasn't too happy!

Our pretty living room...still waiting for my white slip covered sofa!

My beloved laundry room...i love to do laundry!
The romantic sleeping porch!

This is waiting for me now that I have finished giving you the tour...
this home has two claw foot tubs too!!

Hope you enjoyed visiting...i loved having you!

  1. Pamela- I just got home from work a bit ago and an catching up on Blogland. What a perfectly wonderful house. You are blessed to be there...and I love china too...however, I have pared down quite a bit of it but must keep a constant guard up so I don't keep buying more. I love...love....love...china...oh...it is a sickness indeed! I even have 2 sets of Christmas china...one Spode and one Christopher Radko (for everyday)....let's keep this between us though, okay?>)

I love your sleeping porch! How wonderful is that? Are you inland a bit or close to the water? I am just wondering how you are adjusting to everything now?

I have to tell you-although I would probably never have the guts to paint my kitchen cabinets red I absolutely love yours. And I love toille too...so those kitchen toppers are amazing!

You have a great place there and you definitely, definitely...definitely need to post more! lol Hugs my sweet friend...Diana

  2. Wow Pamela! You have such a lovely home! Your red kitchen really rocks! It very tastefully decorated and is not overpowering at all. I love your red transfer ware! I too have a wee bit of an addiction to china but I am getting better and have scaled back a bit.

OMW! TWO clawfoot tubs? I am so moving in! Oh yeah, I also call dibs on the sleeping porch!

I hope you have a fantastic weekend!

I love your china, but am equally crazy for the enameled pot! You set a lovely table, I envy your lucky guests. Thanks for the tour, I'd love to see more! Have a wonderful weekend
